Rolf Gutbier (born August 26, 1903 in Erlangen, † September 26, 1992 in Aichtal-Aich) was a German Architect, Urban Planner and University Teacher. Gutbier studied architecture at the Technical University of Stuttgart and worked in Germany and Switzerland. In 1936 he became assistant to Hugo Keuerleber at the Institute for Technical Development and Design at the Technical University of Stuttgart. In 1948 he became Ordinary for Settlement and Design. From 1953 to 1955 Gutbier was also Rector of the College. In 1970 he became Emeritus.
He was a member of the Second Stuttgart School and helped characterized the reconstruction of the State Capital Stuttgart in the post-war period. Important works were u. a. the skyscraper with exhibition and Museum Building of Daimler-Benz AG in Stuttgart-Untertürkheim (1961, with Hans Kammerer, Walter Belz); Chamber of Commerce and Industry (1952-1954 with Rolf Gutbrod) and the Süddeutsche Rundfunk (1968-1976 with Rolf Gutbrod).
